I work as an architect. Part of my occupation is to listen to my clients. Actually, this is very necessary part. During these conversations I usually hear what my customers want their renovated apartment to look like, what they absolutely don’t want, which things are they afraid of and so forth. What I have noticed during those conversations is that there are some things which are common for most of my clients. Lots of them wanna have rather modern flats, that would look a bit different than flats of all their people. At the same time, they are very scared to be creative. Firstly I was rather angry about this and was doing my best to fight with that type of attitude. Later on, I did find a solution I can offer for such clients. It’s wallpapers. They enable to go crazy, but still look elegant. I want to show you two concrete examples of this.

1 of my customer was a director of a well-known bank. He wanted his apartment to be very elegant and impressive. I believe he wanted his colleagues to be jealous about how great apartment he has. This is was also very necessary for him that his guests are aware that he has this amazing taste - read something more. He wanted to keep all very elegant and simple. Firstly, he didn’t even wanted to hear about wallpapers.



Nonetheless, I managed to convinced him that this might be really good option for him. As a result of this, he can show to his guests not only his elegant side, but also this more crazy one. We agreed to use stadium wallpaper in his living room. At this moment, he seems to be highly happy with his choice.n that period I was also designing apartment of successful business woman. As we extremely liked each other, during our conversation we started to talk about our dreams, past etc.. She admitted that she used to travelling when she was younger and that she eventually has visited more than 40 countries.

Presently, she can’t do it anymore because she is too busy with her company. But she hopes that she will be able to travel again when she is older. Consequently, I suggested that we find map mural in her bedroom. Thanks to this, she could wake up every day, seeing the world and all of those amazing places which are waiting for her and that she will visit in the future.
